I have been filming skateboarding for the past 10 years, first as a crew filmer then as a shop filmer for Balargue in 2016, and finally a freelance filmer since 2020.
During those 10 years I filmed with lots of different set up, starting with a very non standart Digital point n shoot with a fisheye glued on, all the way to today’s standard like the Panasonic HMC151 and the century Xtrem fisheye.
I nowadays film as much as possible on my free time, mostly the Derby CC videos, or other fun projects.
My current camera quiver is composed of the following cameras and optics, if you care about that. Please feel free to ask me any questions, I’d be happy to answer.
Digital camcorder
DSLR
Super 8
Bauer 104 XL
Fisheyes:
Century Xtrem (16/9)
Opteka Titanium (4/3 – 16/9)
Zenitar 16mm for Canon (16/9)
Peleng 8mm for Canon (full circle/4/3)
I also own and used different types of 35mm cameras such as my Reto 3D (for animated pictures), Zenit TTL, Olympus OM1 and various point and shoot.
